Hello. I am Yaneth, pronounced (YAH-net). I started blogging a few years ago, but I am still new to writing and navigating a blog page. I was born in El Salvador, and my mother and I immigrated to Houston, Texas, when I was four years old to escape the Civil War in El Salvador.

I continue to live in Houston. It is home to my husband, Ricky, and our two kids, Natalia and Eleazar. I spend my time being a mom and serving on staff with a ministry to students.

I look forward to writing about motherhood, ministry, advocacy, and faith.

MY BLOG STORY

Wordless Voice started when I spent time with God in Romans 8:26. During this time, I realized how the Holy Spirit speaks his own language when interceding for me. He knows what to say when I don't have the words to express what I feel. He goes to the Father on my behalf with wordless groans. He is a Wordless Voice. After months of going back and forth with my thoughts and reflecting on what God wanted me to do with them, I finally took on the challenge of starting a blog and writing about my experiences. No longer would they be recollections written in my journals, but now the hope is that others would read about them to help navigate this journey we are all in.

WHY I WRITE

Writing is a lot of work for some people, or they do it only when necessay. For others, like me, writing is essential, a way to release stress, and also a way to serve others. These are the five main reasons why I write and why they are essential to me. I hope they also inspire you to think about your reasons for writing.

To leave a legacy

To influence others

To learn and teach

To advocate

To write messages of hope and love
